Grommets are tiny plastic tubes which are shaped like cotton reels. Inserting grommets is a common procedure and is most often performed on children.

The grommets allow air to reach the middle ear as well as preventing the build up of fluid. This procedure often helps to improve hearing in those with frequent occurrences of glue ear and is a minimally invasive procedure.

Our care team, made up highly qualified specialists, doctors and nurses are on hand to assist with any questions you may have leading up to the procedure as well as to advise on any aftercare required.
