A percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is also known as kidney stone removal.

It is a procedure to remove a kidney stone (or stones) through a small incision in the back. You may have to stay in the hospital for 2-3 days after the procedure. Your stay at Saint James will be in a private and well-equipped room, complete with en-suite bathroom and complementary Wi-Fi.

Some downtime will most likely be required upon your return home, however this will be discussed in detail with you as part of your personalised treatment plan by our professional personnel.
