After graduation in 1975, I emigrated to the UK for the next 22 years. Apart from a few years in the UK NHS, most of my time was spent in the British Army (Royal Army Medical Corps). I returned to Malta in late 1998 and worked to establish the first national Genitourinary Clinic at Mater Dei Hospital.
