Qualified Medical Doctor , Malta 1984, subsequently obtaining qualification in United Kingdom. Staff member in Department of Surgery since 1988, training in Northern Region, England, and St.Luke’s Hospital Malta. Qualified Fellowship Diploma in Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Since 2000, Senior Resident in Surgery, St.Luke’s Hospital and later Mater Dei Hospital, leading the team on-call managing surgical admissions. Involved in setting up preoperative asssessment of patients.
Consultant Surgeon (now retired) in Surgery with interest in Emergency surgery and Colorectal Surgery since 2011.
