Ryan graduated from the University of Malta Medical School in 2011. He finished his specialisation training in general ENT in Malta in 2020 and furthered his training by carrying out a Fellowship in Paediatric ENT at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital which was followed by a stint working as a consultant in Paediatric ENT at the same institution prior to his return back to Malta to continue his practice as an ENT Specialist.

While experienced in the management of a wide range of ENT pathologies involving both adult and paediatric patients, his special interests are Paediatric ENT and Otology, treating children’s ear disease and hearing loss, as well as conditions affecting speech development, glue ear, implantable hearing devices (cochlear implants and bone anchored hearing aids), recurrent tonsillitis, snoring and associated sleep apnoea/sleep disordered breathing, nasal obstruction/rhinitis/allergies, drooling and tongue ties.
