Dr Mario Stellini graduated with a medical degree in 1989 and became a member of the Royal College of Edinburgh in 1994. Specializing in gastroenterology, he developed a keen interest in emergency medicine and achieved a Fellowship in Emergency Medicine (FRCS) in 1995. He worked for two years at Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Hospitals in London, where he also engaged in research focused on colon cancer. His time in London marked a significant phase in his career, combining clinical practice in gastroenterology with academic research.
