Dr Cynthia Farrugia Jones is a Medical Consultant at Mater Dei Hospital, With more than two decades of experience in the medial field providing patients with acute medical care and medical outpatient services.
In addition to her work at Mater Dei Hospital, Cynthia has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Malta for the past 19 years member of the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of dentistry where she has overseen the organization and delivery of the curriculum, lectures and tutorials for the medical program and clinical rotations.
After earning a doctorate in Medicine from the University of Malta in 1997, Cynthia went on to complete a postgraduate diploma in Medical Education and Medicine at the University of Dundee in 2009.
Widely recognized in her industry, Cynthia is a Gold Member of the European Respiratory Society, for which she has served as a national delegate.
