I am a fully qualified Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon and I have been on the UK GMC Specialist Register for Trauma and Orthopaedics since 2012 (CCT in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery since 2010, Bratislava, Slovakia- EU).

In Malta, I work at Gozo General Hospital as a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery. This position allows me to actively contribute to treatment of complex trauma injuries (fractures and soft tissue injuries on the extremities and pelvis), large spectrum of elective surgeries (joint replacement- total hip, knee replacements, shoulder elective procedures and trauma surgeries, knee arthroscopic procedures, hand and wrist elective surgeries).

I have good managerial and leadership skills and I am committed to service improvement.
I work well as part of a team and I am able, when appropriate, to take the initiative and work independently.

I have 3 years of general surgery training and 18 years of orthopaedic and trauma surgery training including 3 years of war trauma surgeries.

I have worked in a variety of clinical settings and as a result, I am highly adaptable and able to manage resources effectively.
